Review

Divine is learning more about her magic and with some unlikely allies, she’s torn between staying in Iramont or taking on a new quest to find the answers she seeks. I was very eager to return to Saph and Devine’s story, and this installment did not disappoint. The romance between them is just as hot, and yet just as tender, as it was in the first book, and the duo faces the challenges wrought by the black spot on their tea harvest, Divine’s past, and new allies with a growing depth to their relationship. Though we didn’t see quite as many of the secondary characters that were introduced in the first book, they were there and their stories also moved forward.

Fans of fantasy with D&D elements, a delightful sapphic relationship, and a richly detailed world will love this story, though I do recommend starting with the first book in the series, which I also reviewed.

Book 2 of Tales of Trelvania

Tea Makes Everything Cozier in Trelvania!

Divine has learned a lot about herself, her magic, and her goddess. But now, she and Saph are getting ready for the Midwinter Nights Faire, and that’s the worst time for her magic to go haywire! She might be able to talk to animals now, and Saph seems to be flirting with other patrons. Is there anything left in Iramont for Divine?

It will take an unlikely quest, world-shaking revelations, and some unexpected friends to show Divine her direction in life. The journey will be a tale to tell…over tea!
